Wet Grass

Dark around us

Lanterns in the distance

A game of man hunt in the woods

Hide and seek

Seek and then find

And finding hearts

Close

You’re eyes are red and beautiful blue

I see the good and evil in you

Should I turn around

Hide behind the bitter fence

Will you come back and seek me

When the lanterns blow out?

When the voices soften

And then cease

When the stars are alone with me and you

My heart echoed into the woods

Dark and tall trees

Bright starry sky they

Adore the moon with their sparkling eyes

Wet

Grass

Love

Smoke

The tents are silent

The fire is a small pool of lava

The dog cannot hear or see us

You had such a pretty look

Spectacularly truly

I woke up with your thought in my bed

But the beatles are humming

The fisher-cats are screaming

Lady Madonna

Blind girl in the woods

We knew not to send her

But she went and saw

I hear a river rushing through the house

No more running down the stairs

Time to go to bed

His red tongue laughing and crying

The heart beating

When it came closer

What’s outside

We can look in the dark together

It’s not safe

Lets go anyways

A dark sunrise lights up the snowy mountains

Within the mouth of a skull

We’re scared and in love

With death in our hearts

Life in our eyes and veins

Mouths slowing down

Looking into each other

And the moon looks away

I’m cold in the heat

My heart drags me across the floor

Pulling me through the halls

The snake bit you

And laughed with you about it

And he cut into you dancing with me

And lead me twirling on the grass

Spinning into you

Pinning each other down smiling

A ghostly heart smiles and waves

His face evil

Still smiling

I could laugh or scream

I felt you grab my dress and we got away

Let’s just stay and hide

Behind the bitter fence

No I’ll hide you can seek

Count to 10 slowly

I’ll be gone again

Wait and you’ll see me out of sight

Try and you’ll find me

The stars will be alone with me and you again
