What

To be able to change something, oh how powerful I would be

To be able to change something other than me

The wars overseas and the wars in our hearts, the wars in our minds

I believe it is time to start a new wave of thought

From poverty in foreign lands to hunger in our own

From merciless deaths and terror worldwide

These are the plagues that haunt us and if we are meant to see another day

If our children are meant to live in peace

If hope is destined to continue
