What for?

Study more, try harder

They say.

What for?

A future as bleak as the present.

Only work, no play

They say.

What for?

There will be plenty of time for work later on.

A good job, a good pay

They say.

What for?

A good job cannot pay for a childhood lost.

In order to win, one must lose

They say.

What for?

Success need not require failure.

One day,

I say.

There will be never ending play.

One day,

I say.

A job will no longer be work.

One day,

I say.

My life will be changed.

It cannot be that way,

They say.

What for?
