What About Black Love

My black skin,

On your

black skin.

What looks better

Than ours’

Side by side?

What a

Beautiful Sight.

It just seems

So right.

You over

There

Looking Midnight.

Was that

Not polite?

I would

Appreciate

You

Just how

You like.

Just saying,

Us together

Would be

A delight.

Especially, in the

Sun’s light.

Others might

Think

In demise.

Since

We looking

So tight.

They

Just mad,

Because

You living

Life

Like

Knight.

I get why you say my writing can be confusing to some, but that may just be because they can’t relate. Thanks for the feedback, I know I can always add a bit more detail. But what details would you consider for this poem?

nice but give a little bit more detail from an outsiders perspective it could be a little bit confusing re read and as you re read it to yourself you will understand wha ti was saying liek in hte middle and towards the end.
