What about him?

Standing in the cold all alone Nothing to wear Nothing to hold He stands in the middle of the crowd They stare down on him Pretending he's less than human The pain he has suffered No saving hand he's been offered All the years spent trying To reach higher How it all started How it will end An immigrant full of hopes Left in despair The people's help he did not receive The government's aid he did not “deserve” After all he's an immigrant with no papers No rights, as if he did not exist What about the american dream? For him, nothing but a daydream.
