What About Now?

Too out of focus
and out of reach
I am what you
will not seek
A hopeless
being with
no purpose
I stand to
correct and
sit when
questioned
I can't see
through the
darkness
It is too
dark to
see
How do you
explain seeing
darkness in the
day, when they
are unafraid?
I will not
speak
I cannot
gesture
towards
something
that only I
can see
Will you walk
with me, if I released
myself out into the open?
I can't get myself to move,
to speak, to focus, to laugh,
to feel, or to be what I once
was, would you love me now,
now that you know all that you
have lost, could you love me now?
