What am I
I look in the mirror only to see
I've become something I don't want to be.
I look at my face. I stare in my eyes.
All I see is my bitter dimise.
It scares me to death to think of my fate.
If I could remove this feeling, I wouldn't hesitate.
I feel helpless and all alone.
There's o good thing I can call my own.
It tears me apart from inside to out.
I'm scared to death for fear of what I'm about.
What ever it is that drives me insane,
Leave me alone! I can't bear this pain!
I need a relief! Lord, hear my prayer.
Help me to know that You truly care.
Focus my mind on things that matter.
Help me ignore all evil chatter.
Though I don't have many fans,
I put my struggle into Your hands.
Help me to love the ones around me
And make me be the man that I should be.
