What Am I?

What am I?

Obviously I am a Caucasian girl
Human
Homo Sapien

But what else am I?
I am sixteen
Blonde hair
Blue-Green eyes

There must be more though
There must be a personality
Behind the snow white skin
And the ocean colored eyes

If you ask that then
I am a girl
Who lives life to the fullest
And writes poetry about it

I am a girl
Who loves theatre
Digging through
Prop after prop

Just to find the right one
Even if it's just a cup
Up to the elbows in paint
So a set prop is magical

Sacrificing her sanity
Because glitter is everywhere
Just because a leaf
Needed to be sparkly

I am a Properties Master
I am a Student Set Designer
I am my theaters Master Electrician
I am the Head Stage Hand

I am a girl
Who sings her heart out in choir
Hitting the alto notes
With pride in her heart

Walking the neighborhood
For a fundraiser
She doesn't need
Nor wants

I am a girl
Who is often lonely
Creating worlds of wonder
In her head

I am a girl
Who won't back down
To the bullies of life
Even if they're  adults

I am a girl
Who is ready
To face the world
With or without someone by her side

I am a girl
Who is an only child
Alone in this life
Till she meets her match

I am a girl
Named Emily
A combo of
Millie and Emma

With a middle name
From her great grandmother
Antonié
A Czech name of the past

And a last name
To be proud of
Urbish
Originally Urbis

I am
Emily
Antonié
Urbish

And I am a girl
Ready for anything
To happen
And happy when it does
