What Am I?

The smell after it rains.

And just before a storm.

The swirling in the drain.

Cottons on a new boy born.

When it mixes with others in the sea.

When it bleeds through your homework sheet.

Through the tears its all you see.

Up in the sky when birds are free.

All the shades,  I've come to love,

Staying till I die.

Have you guessed whats up above?

If so, What am I?
