What Am I To Be?
I am.
I am a man who was once a boy that was bullied in hallways.
I am a man who was beaten to the ground for no reason but that I was different.
I am a man who has had to search desperately for friends.
I am a man that searches for the answers to why I have been treated so.
I am a person.
I am a person in that I make mistakes as I try to fix all the others I made.
I am a person who can be loving and still not have those feelings returned.
I am a person who wakes up putting on a show so others will smile without seeing the pain.
I am a person, once boy now man, who now turns on the world and laughs at them as they hurt me.
I am a survivor.
I am a survivor who lived through being the years of being bullied.
I am a survivor who has lived and continues to live through the deaths of the one’s I love.
I am a survivor who lived through the secret years of my depression.
I am a survivor, one who has found others that I can call friends.
I am. A Human-being.
