What am I waiting for

What am I waiting on? The change starts with me. I've been cooped up so long I actually almost forgot how to breathe. I don't know where I'm going or how long it'll take. All I know is I can't be the me I used to be. I've come so far to give up now. I've been so far down the lows seem to blend with the highs. The things I've seen while meeting my demons would scare even the most morbid human beings. My demons and I go hand and hand, even with something as simple as my dreams of being an acrobat. I can walk the tight rope, swaying side to side, and there's my demons right by my side. They are the wind that keeps pushing me. They wait for me to fall just so they can wrap me up and pull me under, but I stay strong and walk on. I'll finish my circus act before I ever surrender. I'll never look down I'll just keep moving forward. If they want something to prey on they'll need to fight a little harder. They can rip me to shreds well the old me. It won't phase me I've survived every damn thing I've ever been through all the way till this point. What's the purpose of throwing in the towel now? I'll fight, I'll scream, I'll do anything just to say I made it and that despite everyone else I never gave up on me.
