What are friends?

Friends is a word that everyone uses heavily 

 but don’t know the definition of 

friends 

friends are people you turn to when your family is not there 

Friends are people who will always be there at your lowest moments

You see for the past few month 

I have been searching for the true definition of friends

Because I know friends are not

Back stabbing whores who

Stuck the high of happiness when their world goes 

Down 

Friends are not envious of your life 

When you can’t seem to fall asleep at night

Friends are not people who doesn’t talk to you because 

Your enemy doesn’t want them to

Those are snakes 

And God himself told us what to do with them

Take the heel of our foot and strike them

But most of us can’t 

Because we don’t even know 

What’s the true definition of friendship 

We invest so much time and yet

We can’t see the damage 

It has done to our lives 

So what are friends 

Friends are people who will

F ight for you

R espect you 

I nclue you

E ncourage you

N eed you 

D eserve you 

S tand by you 

most of us don’t even know 

How it feels to have a great friend

Because we surrond ourselves with associates

So next time make sure you don’t call a

Random snake your friend
