What Are We

Humans We laugh, we cry, we smile, we sing, we yell, we whisper, we dance, we run, we roam, we survive Strong, brave, courageous However we are all so weak inside Some hide it better than others Some wear their heart on their sleeves What are we really? But confused creatures placed onto this planet with no goal, with no purpose, no life We make up our lives each day we breathe But who are we to create these rules These rules that one must look like this or one must look like that That someone is beneath you due to the way they appear What are we but confused souls looking for a plan and a way to make the days go by We all try Some succeed Some fail Some die
