What is Awesome

"What is awesome?", is the question I ask.

The answer may lie in my field of view,

As I sit right here in my living room chair,

And am typing my stanzas, from me to you.

I can see out the window, though dirty and smeared

With something translucent and yellow.

And I see its cast shadows on the brown floor

In a shape that seems to flow.

How strange it is when one thing like this,

Gives rise to another so different.

It fills me with awe as to how it all works,

But more than I care to admit.

Now my question is answered and I can see,

What is truly awesome is the world around me.
