What To Be...

the world thinks you're calm, composed

far from it you are, in fact

inside burns a rage, fazed

which none could effectively extract;

in appearance you are cool, composed

inside you torment yourself with statements, unopposed

what be it, this life?

none can see this struggle, this strife;

woe to they who remain selfish, inconsiderate

can none see your pain, your anguish?

from whom, or what shall you finally be liberated?

until that day, shall you remain languished?

what more is to be said?

apart from 'you're distressed'?

what more is to be done?

apart from reflecting and standing in the sun?

you realize in the few moments after

that not all things may end in laughter,

but there is a lesson to this story,

and that simply is the pinnacle of thoughts, glory!

It's a thing called over-speculation, exaggeration...

Now you feel like you're the selfish one,

Absorbed in yourself, self-pitying,

Ashamed you feel, of not paying attention to others,

And I could go on and on about the guilty, sheepish....feelings,

But it's kinda...pointless. We've all been there (whether you admit it or not).
