What is Beauty

What is beauty? An answer no easy to say Is beauty starving yourself every hour of the day? Or maybe you eat but throw it up later on Or work hard exercising until all the weight is gone Is beauty wearing lots of make up and having new clothes Or is it getting a new hairstyle and pretty painted toes Is beauty changing your face body and boobs? Is it having stuff sewn on and other things surgically removed? What is beauty? And do you think you’re beautiful? Because many girls would say no Or I’m average or just fine Can we all be this blind Now its not that we are super shallow It’s just what we’ve been taught to believe And its how we think we are being perceived It’s in the media, on TV, and shows And this is all we really know What is beauty? Does beauty come from the inside or out? Because most the people I know seem to have doubt Does beauty radiate from deep within? Or come from putting on make-up and being super thin And here is a question that may change what you base beauty on Can a girl be beautiful if she has a burnt face and half of it gone? Now think do you truly have the grace To say she is beautiful in spite of her face What is beauty? Because if you ask me its hard to define It would be much easier if the whole world were blind The definition beauty in the world constantly changes The world has its standards and its ranges Personally I don’t think I’m beautiful by the world’s standards I don’t like my body, my face, or stomach My hair gets frizzy and my nose is too wide And I don’t want to mention these roles on my sides This is how I feel I’m seen in the world’s eyes Media shows us what beauty is and we feed into their lies So what is beauty? It comes from God not the world Because he does not care if your hair is straight or if it’s curled When you base beauty on God You will finally expose the world’s fraud God defines beauty and his definition is constant When we find our beauty in Him we can be acceptant No more worries of clothes our bodies or hair No stress or fake boobs or worries of other’s stares Because God he doesn’t make any errors Beauty is truly being acceptant of how you were created So you can look in the mirror and not be afraid And believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made
