What Became A Joke was A Dream
Here and there it was,
carelessly drifting past the moist seas of the west coast
Hair creating waves battling the seas waves the wind battling her waves battles being fought,
sea breeze creating hair like a tidal wave.
Smile on her face as she whipped past a cliff face.
What became a joke was a dream.
She sat atop mountain top with a man darkened from his days
his tongues of flames wrapped itself around hers in a dance.
Four human couples danced endlessly till their hearts were out of blood
their mouths were out of loving.
His tongue was dry, his hands were too rough as she nourished it with milk.
What became a joke was a dream.
His age had taken the better of him.
His husky old platooned voice triggered an urgency to be away,
claw his face away as he plead to stay.
Just another one of her 4 identical liars.
What became a joke was a dream.
The news came in.
He was well and truly dead before she was able to pull herself from her bed.
Another new boyfriend no time to make amends old wounds only get worse.
The moon aroused her,
the way it shone it’s breath was refreshing that little air freshener she needed in her life.
It’s glitter sprawled her in a ball alone naked yet comfortable,
the moon had it’s personal slur
it was always there for her every night without fault.
They said she could never fall in love,
she was broken lost tossed atop but in love with the moon.
What became a joke was a dream.
Anything is possible these days.
