What "Because I Love You" Should Mean

Because I love you

I trust you

I'm willing to fight for you

But I won't ever fight against you

I'll do my best to put my pride aside

This is a relationship, I won't jeopardize

We might disagree when our ideas don't mix

But that's nothing an understanding discussion can't fix

I'll always show you my appreciation

Even when things go against my expectations

I'll make mistakes

You'll make mistakes

What's important is to underderstand and forgive

Don't hold on to our past mistakes, just live

Living it day by day

I'll take love over hate anyday

Working hard to get through it all

Never leave you waiting when you call

Having faith you won't abandon me

Because I'll never abandon you

Because I love you
