What better reason?

What better reason than to see

the smile on a kid’s face.

That beatific smile when you tell them

their dog is fine. Their cat just had kittens.

Their friend can continue on with them.

The parents are happy too.

No break in their family, because

the pets are family. They belong there.

And I kept them there. A vet,

helping the world be a happier place.

One pet at a time.
