What can be

The things that are happening 

The things that are changing

The things that will be

The wildfires and natural disasters

The ways I could help 

Maybe send relief 

Or I could be the one who becomes a hero

Maybe help the animals stay alive

Maybe help the people build a new life

The people under the bridge

I could help buy a meal 

Maybe I could set them up with a job

Hope they use the job to help others to 

There's always a way to help so I'll find it and do it

Hope the kindness spreads 

The strays on the street 

Feed them till they can find a house

Find ways to help them get their vaccines

Help as many as I can 

They don't have a voice so I can be theirs

Help them win their battles

Help them keep their lives

The people who are afraid of who they love

The ones who don't know what they feel

They think there's something wrong with them

I hope they know there's not

There would be a place for them 

In a place that I can help raise

I would want to let them know it's okay

Let them know they're not alone

Hope they can help other people know

I want to see people grow into something better

I want to be able to return them the kindness they've shown me

I want our kindness to spread around

I want to help 

I want to leave a legacy of kindness

I want to keep on living in hope of a better place

Whether that place be the world 

Or the house in a person's head

Maybe ill only be able to give a dog a meal

But I would hope we changed what will be

To be better than what was

I am inspired by what can be

I am inspired by what will be
