What Can I Do?

I am just a girl

With sunshine hair and a whirling brain

What can I do?

A mother has lost her child

I walk past

Try not to second glance

Hope she finds him

What can I do?

I am just a girl

Polite and a little quiet

What can I do?

A dirty hand grabs me

"Money for cigarettes."

Close my eyes

Pretend

What can I do?

I am just a girl

Who has a voice and is willing to ask

What can I do?

Are you alright?

Let me help you

Together

Someone comes over, "What can I do?"
