What Can I Say?

I was asked by

a complete stranger

what or who I'd

bring with a lone islander

like myself. I wondered

and endlessly thought and

questioned and pondered,

'til I felt your sweet hand

grasping my heart and soul.

I thought about when we met.

I thought about how you stole

my heart, and I'll never regret

those days of my bashfulness,

your grin shining like the sun,

my incredible cheesiness,

and your dorky puns.

What can I say?

I'm head over heels

in love with, to this day,

you. Only you. Nobody feels

as strongly about you

as I do. I love you. I really do

What can I say? What would I take? I knew all this time. I just knew.
