What could be is what can't be.

Acting is a dream that i crave

To be able to give the gift of laughter

To be able to bring happiness or sorrow

To be an escape for those who dislike their reality

That's what I want to be.

But to be ridiculed by those who love you

And criticized by those you've trusted

Because what you wanted was not good enough

Not good enough to pay the bills

Not good enough to raise a family

Not reliable enough to support a future.

You think maybe it isn't good enough

Maybe it won't work

So you decide that it's better to take a different path

Let go of what could be

And take a grip of what should be

Because choosing what should be is a safer bet than what could be.
