What could have been?
What could have been?
What could have been?
My children ask me; oh such a tedious task
Tell us! Tell us! They yell
They wanna know how hard I fell
I loved him more than love
But he knew his time; he went above
I look up at him every day
Promising to visit one day
I moved on but never forgot
I’ve loved and lost
Longing for the comfort now gone
