What dare I say, inspires me today?

If I am being completely honest

I’d say that this poem took a lot of work

But for what reason would that be; perhaps

It’s due to a lack of inspiration

But how does one get inspired one way

Or another; mayhaps it just takes some

Time. Out of your day and mine. Just to think.

Think and think and think, that’s what we do, huh?

Everyday is nothing but constant thoughts

So can’t we say that everything, right here

In our world, is inspiration after

All. Ain’t that the truth. Ain’t that the darn truth.
