What A Day!!!

As I watch the sun slowly brighten up the skyline

I realize another day I’ve have to spend alone

I am left with memories that constantly torture my mind

Sometimes, I find it hard to deal with the fact that you're gone

Only if you're over possessed a broken heart can you understand

I never wanted us to break apart, I was doing the best that I can

You infiltrated my soul and made some promises you couldn't keep

Like the one you made about never leaving me

You left me when I needed you the most

I find it hard to believe you no longer need me

We once shared so much, why have you forgotten about us?

I've shed so many tears, I can no longer express the way I feel.

I only know that the pain that I feel is real

LOve is not supposed to feel like this-there used to be such bliss

Just like I look forward to the next day, I look forward to your kiss the next day

However, like the next day isn't promised, I guess neither was this

Had I known it would've turned out this way

I could've stopped and ran the other way

Now, I live knowing, I will never see your face again

Now the end it is, I live and deal with the pain
