But What Do I Know?

Words keep repeating

Tumbling through my head

The ones that shocked me so much

The very ones you said

Why couldn’t you have told me?

What ever did I do?

You could’ve put your trust in me

Like mine always lies in you.

But what do I know?

It’s not that I’m jealous

Or even really mad

But that you thought you had to hide it

Just makes me kind of sad

Though things may never be the same

I hope we’ll still be friends

I’ll tell you everything

And you’ll be with me till the end

Won’t you?

But what do I know?
