What do i need?

When someone asks: what is the one thing I need to survive

I don't have just one thing to ask for

Of course I need food

That is essential

I need fresh water to stay alive

But is that what I really want

Don't get  me wrong, I am absolutely in love with food

It is the first thing that comes to mind

But it isn't the only thing

What I also need is a companion  or three

Someone I can share my thoughts with

Someone I can grow old with and begin a life after us

Me, a friend, my soul mate and theirs

Just so things don't get a little too carried away

So that I don't become insane with my own thoughts

So that I can interact

So I am not alone.
