What do they know?

Some say love is easy, but what do they know?

they've never been left, never felt so low.

Were they promised love till death do them part

only to have blood leak from the whole in their heart?

Were they told they were beautful every day of the week

then left in the dirt with nothing but a sheet?

Love isn't something that's given to all

I probably never had love, I was under his thrall.

Love is not selfish, he should choose you

over every other girl he could ever woo.

Real love isn't easy, so couples soldier on.

Because when love is real, you can bet he won't leave at dawn.
