What do we need?
How much do we really need,
to be fulfilled;
Sometimes it is just someone.
to gleam from head to sole;
But the more I try to reach this Elysian state'
The more I fall shimmering soul,
For I fear it may be far gone,
a bleak shine,
radiates from hearty desires.
How much do we really need,
to be fun;
Sometimes it is money,
To buy anything;
To be able to show your siblings, your family,
to have them be proud,
To be able to do something, in this horrid world;
You need for women to find you funny
You need it to be lovey, dovey
To buy choclates, expensive presents;
It seems like this world just tries to screw you,
Do you really need anything at all?
I'll stick it out with my small bleak soul,
For one day it will not shimmer,
IT WILL SHINE
