What Do You Know

We are invisible to our friends and even more to the world.

We believe we can see through each other.

But,

It’s crazy how we can be invisible to ourselves.

We look in the mirror and what we see is a little bleak.

I think I can look inside your soul

But,

I’m so unknown to everything within me.

What is a mirror? A reflection of light?

Or is a mirror a mere reflection of how I see life?

I can’t understand myself and it is very symmetrical to how I see the world.

Life has a way of keeping us hidden from the truth until we finally reach the end.

So until then I must pretend I can see myself clearly in this mirror

Even though it’s broken…
