What Do You See?

What do you see when you look at me?

Do you see me now or where I used to be?

Do you see where I'm going or where I'm coming from?

Or do you see the pain I'm in leaving my body numb?

If so then change your vision

Because my mistakes help me make better decisions

Yeah I'm young and came from the dump

But move out my way because ya girl's moving up

Leaving ain't fina be easy

But I got better things waiting for me

I may have been born here but this ain't where I'm gone stay

I just need to find my way

Find my way to better places

Find my way to better faces

Ain't nobody fina hold me back

From letting go and giving all that I have

I won't let my past dictate my future

And I'm moving so fast I'm bound to lose ya

So many people trying to get in my way

But ain't nobody fina take my brighter day

Came this far to be happy

Came this far for nobody but me

Came this far just to be free

Came this far to be...me

I already got people doubting me

But they not fina dictate what I'll be

They not gon tell me what I do and don't know

They not gon tell me where I'ma go

I opened my eyes so now I see

See all the things that are waiting for me

See all the people behind me

See all the people supporting me

See everything that I am

See everything that I'm gon be
