What does it mean?

What does it mean to hear the words, I love you?

Is it the nectar of honeysuckle drifting through the air,

or a vibrant clash of storms and brude weather?

Love is love, love can be from a bee defending its hive to the death,

the same as a mother would protect her pups.

When the world says I love you, how does one answer?

Through picking up litter?

Saving a bird?

One says I love you, to the earth, that is the answer.

For saving every last of earths birds, and picking up every iota of rubbish is a task, as compared to taking every grain of sand from mount everest down, to form a new mountain.

Love is much like the earth, fraught with beauty, the same for love between humans.

Love shouldnt be tearing down and building new mountains, or going across the very surface of the earth,

but rather a warm meal, being considerate, taking pride in the things you do together.

That is what it should mean when you hear those words.
