What Does Tomorrow Say

What does 'tomorrow' say?

Are they three syllables of excitement?

but they may be dread

Possibly they could be the same as 'yesterday'

Could you tell me about tomorrow?

Not just your plans or the time

but how it feels

I know I could not

For that is the intrigue of 'tomorrow'

Certainly uncertain

Spontaniously planned

As long as there is 'today' there may as well be 'tomorrow'

And as long as there is 'tomorrow' I can imagine

All the twists and turns it may take

or the brevity it may hold

Another chance to be great

but maybe the same as before

So again I ask

What does 'tomorrow' say?
