What the "educators" always forget..

Everyone expects you to get straight A's, but they

Don't remember you have 3 jobs.  They don't ask

Until your GPA has dropped, or you start skipping

Class.  You know you can do the work but there is

Almost never enough time.  One bad grade leads to one

Thousand and you start feeling stupid and

Inferior.  Why don't these so called educators remember that

Our generation has to work for a living.  We do

Not have 5 hours a night to do homework or study.

And this is what we call EDUCATION?

<p>This probably is a very elimentary poem, but I broke the lines up so when you read vertically down the side of the poem it reads EDUCATION.&nbsp;</p>

Keep up the good work. I find your structuring of this&nbsp;poem interesting. Is this a spoken word&nbsp;piece? If so, is that the reason for you breaking off the line in certain&nbsp;parts of the sentence? Just something I was wondering about. Just something to think about. A bunch of questions like this usually help me in the editing&nbsp;process of my work and I figured every&nbsp;poet wants a real critique and not just a &quot;This is good.&quot;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-family: ITCFranklinGothicStd-Book, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; color: rgb(37, 37, 37); background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">Unfortunately, I do not have a favorite line from this particular piece that caught my interest and stayed with me.</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-family: ITCFranklinGothicStd-Book, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; color: rgb(37, 37, 37); background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-family: ITCFranklinGothicStd-Book, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; color: rgb(37, 37, 37); background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">I&#39;m a&nbsp;poet myself. If you get the chance and would like, you can return the favor by checking out some of the&nbsp;pieces I&#39;m&nbsp;posting. I JUST created my&nbsp;profile and would like some feedback, a couple of ratings, you know. Have a great one.
