What Feels Like a Dream

This world is a disaster. It's a deformity. A glitch. Shaped into ways that shouldn't be formed. I blink. Hoping that the next time I open that I can find this a dream. But the colors are too sharp with my perfect vision and that oval shaped organ in the middle of my chest is aching too deeply and my skins goose bumps  are too real for this to be a dream. I take a breath and open my eyes. My body shivering. My hands trembling. The wind is still blowing. Still cold. I take one step and forget about the next hundred. Taking 1 step then dragging the next one behind it until it finally feels easier. Until my eyes are too tired to keep their focus and my legs are too numb to feel. And everything starts to feel like a dream.
