What is flesh?

1 Thessalonians 5:23 

Blessing and Admonition

²³ Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit,

soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What is ...?

What is spirit and what is flesh? My flesh is so deceitful.

In its emotion and religion, it comes across as spiritual.

What is spiritual in this quest ... if this is all I know?

 If the spirit does not communicate in my business as usual?

When my spirit communicates regularly tenderly and softly

Surely my flesh will act the opposite it will wail, complain and groan.

To clearly hear the spirit’s voice takes more than close attention

And that meditation brings ... to overcome intentions of the soul.

In all respects distinguish what is a soul and what is a spirit.

We must seek to walk ... by the spirit in yours truly

Only then the Lord will do His Part through the Holy Spirit

Just do remember that He needs our cooperation fully.

All that is emotion ... and its deepening energy

is built on the natural and must be separated.

Including mind and senses so nothing should be traced

into the spirit’s sphere ... as it must be all deflated.

The separation between soul and spirit must be complete.

Nothing here can integrate or be apart from one another.

Death and life can’t fuse in one through working hand in hand

and so it is with soul and spirit ... please don’t confuse the matter.
