What Flies

Day after day I spoke my soul to him

Confidently, He held my waist

His face I felt not only, beard a trim

and feelings sprung with no haste.

From the sunny looks passed each day

To the words we felt, spoken

In each other we disappear where we lay,

Too young to know that love can be broken.

Time went on and so did we

Helplessly, eyes filled and fell with tears

Of great and sorrow so many we couldn't see,

Endlessly running blind, hand in hand with fears.

Back to the beginning, cold knots untied,

Forever didn't last so long, time flied.
