What Friend?
Hello there friend
I used to know
Please tell me what happened
Where did you go?
You said goodbye after
I said hello,
So I stood here
Stuck in this spot
Waiting for you
But you came not.
And if you happen
To wander this way
In this spot
I will stay
Awaiting you and
Your return,
A friendship lost
And left to burn.
And when I see you
Across the lane
I wonder if you
Think the same
Hello there friend
