What the Future Holds
I am defeated
I wonder why
I hear the sneaky comments
I see the looks
I want things to change
I am stronger
I pretend I’m okay with it
I feel used
I touch the edge of uncertainty
I worry thing will never be the same
I cry for the things I miss
I am pushing through it
I run in hopes of proving them wrong
I accept my differences
I reject failure
I refuse to be seen as I am now
I am going to be better
I understand what it will take
I say things now to please others
I dream of the future
I try to be more understanding
I hope I will make it out in one piece
I am successful
