What the future holds is darkness

Darkness

I can some times scare me.

As I sit here it reminds me that I am alone,

that I am forever alone.

But darkness holds something for better for me.

It tells me that I am safe and secure

because I'm alone.

Al thought I don't know what tomorrow holds

right here in the darkness I don't need to worry.

Because what ever the future holds

it can always hold off until tomorrow.

Only because it is not in the present,

but it is my future and an a mere moment

it will become my past.

And as I welcome the safety of the darkness,

I remeber that i will always have it

from the time the sun sets

until the break of dawn.
