What God has Given Us

May 28th, 2018, was the day my heart began to beat for you,

the one and only time I felt the truth.

As days went by, I fell for you more,

you were always there to adore.

We would watch the stars and pick one out,

only to know what it was about.

It was about us. 

It was about our love,

our passion,

our desire,

our future that we wished for. 

But as our lips were inches apart under the night sky, I realized that I am beyond thankful for everything that God has given us.

I am thankful for OUR true love.
