What Goes Around

It had been 75 years

Since he had last seen her.

"Hello, old friend."

Instead of greeting him back,

She danced, sparkled, and flowed.

She looked the same as

When he had last seen her.

Long, white hair.

Minutes, an hour or so pass.

She had barely moved past.

He steps back inside,

Knowing that this was the last time

He'd meet his friend Halley.
