What Good Are Eyes That Do Not See?
Eyes that are shut are hidden from light For them it is always night Eyes shut are sheltered from fright Unpenetrable closed so tigh Eyes that are shut are hidden from the light They miss all the delight No colors so brilliant and bright No joys brought by sight What good are eyes that do not see About as good as getting stung by a bee
