What Happened?

What happened to that pink toy house?

The one that you could sit on the roof?

And it would wobble like a Weeble

but never fell in?

What happened to those hot August afternoons?

Where we would sit out on the driveway

waiting for the ice cream man

to come by?

What happened to coming home

and going straight to the park?

Because you had no homework?

What happened?
