What Happened After

Once upon a time not long ago
An old woman began a story all the boys and girls know
About a lady who went from sleeping in cinders
To rolling in dough
The question is
“What ever happened after that?”, and so
Here's the story:

Cin-der-el-la
Dressed in yella’
Went upstairs to kiss a fella

And for a while
It seemed like all her little problems went away
Oh,how happy was her wedding day
Who knew
This momentary peace would soon decay

Hey! No one told her having four kids was tough
When “Prince Charming” is never around share the stuff
That she worries about
Thecloutsthelouts
She's always feeling down and out

Finally, Cinderella speaks
“I've had enough”

She said “I'm leavin’ the town!
Takin’ the kids and the crown!
No I don't care if you're down!
When you're nowhere to be found!”
Who said that you had a choice
You who ignored our voice

I knew
And if you ever listened you'd have a clue
As to
What this sudden reasoning is that you think is new
So screw you!
Now that I'm in charge the story of me and you,
Is through
