What Happened When I Left

My Dear,

I love you

I truly do

And although you say you do too

It's sometimes hard to believe you

I sit by my phone, waiting

But I hardly hear from you anymore

They told me not to fall for you

That you could only bring hurt

But I didn't listen

I fell every time I saw you

The way you held me, kissed me

We talked all weekend long, up until the early hours

And I was happy

And I thought you were too

But then the week came

I wouldn't hear from you for days

It seemed like you were ignoring me

You told me I was special

But then, you told a lot of girls that, didn't you

I don't feel special to you anymore

I feel used, feelings played with

Something to stroke you ego until you find something better

And it hurt

But I'm done now

I give up

Are you happy now

I hope so

Because I've moved on

She treats me better then you ever did

Loves me, shows me off

And the funny thing was she was once yours too

But she has me now, and I have her

So I wish you the best

So long

Good luck

Signed from your old flame
