this is what happens when i think about you

I bet she knew she was beautiful.

By the way, she took me for granted.

Oh, forever’s a long time.

Still I waited.

Patiently, even for a crumb of your love

To fall from your table.

And into mine.

Yet nothing.

My craving intensifies.

A rising pit of emptiness from my stomach.

You could tell she loved the attention.

As his hips swayed closer to hers.

Oh, she loved him.

You could tell by her laugh.

Oh, believe me you could tell.

But she said she loved me.

Numerous times like stars in the sky.

She has said it.

Don't say things you can't defend.

I love you is just a word.

Powerless. It started from nothing.

We were friends.

this is what happens when i think about you.
