What have I done?
Someone once asked me
what have you done?
i smiled
and thought and thought and thought
nothing
i was not a prodigy with a future brighter than the sun
i was not a charitable person for my greed and selfishness had been taught
what have i done?
i had chosen silence instead of to admit the ugly truth
one smooth question had left my mind in peices
i went home that day and looked at what i had done
i hade a messy room messy head messy life
but all of them ahd been caused by something else
i did not cause chaos
i did not bring distruction
i did not fix the world
i did not make smiles appear
i did nothing
simply exsisting had been enough
i did not get up and start something
i simply exsisted
in my sorrow in my grief
what have i done?
