What Have You Done?
What have you done?
Sitting there, alone and cold in my grey thoughts
Those thoughts that bring pain to this broken heart
Covered in thrones and lies
That only fills these faces with bloody tears
What have you done?
You have once promised great and happy times for all of us
But now all you do is expose that yellow belly
Swimming in your never-ending pool of green
While the rest of us drown in the black abyss that we call home
You and your beautiful lies
Gently touching our hearts and making us fall in love with your words
Blindly following every deceiving promise
We never expected taht the flame we felt for you
To become just a thin dancer of grey smoke
What have you done?
You have murdered our innocence
You have destroyed our pride
You have raped our dignity
Are you proud of yourself?
Preying to the souls and hearts of your citizens like a red hair fox
Hypnotizing those who are defenseless
Those whose only weapons are their voices
Voices that are silenced by fear
With puppets that have been taught to believe your truth
A form of truth that only brings misery and sorrow
What have you done?
